Any ring we wear on the left hand ( where our heart is at) should traditionally be a ring that has spiritual or emotional importance for us. mostly we wear the rings on the Fourth (Ring) finger. This finger is called the Ring finger for a reason. It's where both the men and women wear their engagement, wedding or other commitment related rings. While Christian Catholic tradition teaches people to wear engagement and wedding bands on their left hand, it's not a 100% rule in all the other religions as Eastern Orthodox church orders its believers to wear the wedding ring on their right hand.
