Frost building up inside my windows every morning - replace or is there a fix?

Frost forming on the inside of windows is usually caused by excess indoor moisture combined with very cold glass surfaces. Improving ventilation, reducing humidity and maintaining consistent heating can often resolve the issue, although older or failed double glazing may need replacing if the problem persists.

Frost or condensation inside your windows each morning is often caused by high indoor humidity and poor ventilation rather than faulty windows. Try using extractor fans, improving airflow and a dehumidifier before replacing them. If moisture is trapped between double-glazed panes, however, the sealed unit may need replacing.

I’d first check the home’s humidity levels, window seals, and insulation before recommending replacement. If frost is forming between panes, the seal may have failed. Persistent moisture can also signal ventilation or insulation issues worth addressing before listing or buying.
