This girl and I have been friends for a few months but mainly hang out in groups. We were playing pool, she kept repeatedly asking to be on my team and then hugged me a few times when we won. Days later, she then burst into my dorm room and asked if I could hear her singing, because apparently it would be "super embarrassing" if I did. Then just recently, we were walking back from dinner (other people had left a bit earlier) and she asked me if I was going to this winter dance coming up. Not sure, but it feels like especially when these are all happening in relation to one another, that they could be signs.

Based on the series of events that you've described, it's possible that your friend is flirting with you. Here are some indicators to consider:

  • Requesting to be on your team during a game: This could be seen as an opportunity for her to spend more time with you and possibly show off her skills.
  • Hugging you after winning: Physical touch, like hugging, can be a sign of flirting and interest.
  • Bursting into your dorm room: This could be seen as a way for her to initiate contact and spend time with you.
  • Asking if you can hear her singing: This could be interpreted as a way to get your attention and start a conversation.
  • Asking if you're going to dance: This is a clear indication that she wants to go to the same event as you and potentially spend more time with you.

It's important to keep in mind that everyone expresses themselves differently, and it's possible that your friend is simply being friendly without any romantic intentions. However, the combination of these actions could indicate that she is interested in you.

If you're interested in her as well, it might be worth testing the waters by spending more one-on-one time together and seeing how she responds. If you're not interested in her romantically, it's important to communicate your feelings in a respectful and clear manner to avoid any confusion or hurt feelings.
