The 8Ps of marketing often referred to as the 'Marketing Mix', is a set of guidelines for successful brand promotion. It includes the fundamental elements that must be incorporated into an effective marketing plan. 

The 8Ps are Product, Price, Promotion, Place (distribution), People, Physical Evidence, Process and Packaging. 

Product involves having a product or service that meets customer needs and fulfills all legal requirements.

Price refers to having an appropriate price in line with your target market.

Promotion involves finding the right channels to advertise your product/service, such as advertising campaigns or social media.

Place/Distribution looks at how you get your product/service to the target customer.

People looks at managing internal resources such as staff.

Physical Evidence deals with tangible elements of marketing like store displays and packaging design.

Process centres on making sure customers have a good experience when dealing with your business.

Packaging ties together all of these different aspects into one unified plan that works for both the business and its consumers.
