You’re referring to Wrecking Ball, the 28th hero in Overwatch, and like you, many players that find him adorable. But make no mistake regarding this hero because, behind the cute exterior, this hero does live up to its name. He’s good at wrecking and destroying things using his quad cannons which are capable of devastating threats at medium range.
Wrecking Ball is capable of shifting form into a ball that can roll and move at high speeds. His defenses are also very strong, thanks to his shields that absorb damage and cause greater destruction to nearby opponents. He also has a claw that lets him cling to and swing from an area and knock down the enemy.
Wrecking Ball’s real name is Hammond. He’s a 14-year-old hamster who, though at some point held captive at the Horizon Lunar Colony, grew smarter and eventually ended up escaping to explore the moon and harness his skills. A series of events brought him to Australia where he enhanced his escape pods and established his reputation as Wrecking Ball.
