In my view, PMP (Project Management Professional) is one of the most respected certifications in the field of project management. It shows that a professional understands structured project management practices such as planning, risk management, budgeting, and team coordination.
One of the biggest advantages of PMP is that it is recognized across many industries, including IT, construction, healthcare, and finance. Because of that, it can open doors to better roles and leadership opportunities.
However, PMP is most valuable for people who are already involved in managing projects or planning to move into project management roles. For someone outside that field, it may not be as relevant.
Overall, I see PMP as a strong credential for professionals who want to build credibility and grow in project management.
