According to Cyberpunk 2077 and PsychoSquad’s advertising teams, Keanu Reeves did, in fact, play a key role in the development of the game. Keanu will be making a guest appearance in the game as Johnny Silverhand. Unfortunately, Reeves’ character is non-playable, but it will still be exciting to see an animated version of Keanu Reeves in the game. Reeves himself has expressed his excitement about the game and his involvement. Johnny Silverhand’s design was based largely on Keanu Reeves’ body type, movement, and even his voice. The game developers brought Reeves on board as they began to pull the story’s features together.
Reeves’ character, Johnny Silverhand, will stay alongside the game’s main character V, who players will control. Because of the story’s dynamic plot features, it’s unclear if Silverhand is truly a friend of V or if he has an underlying agenda of his own. Either way, fans can look forward to seeing The Matrix star featured in Cyberpunk 2077.
