Is the Fender Deluxe Reverb a good amplifier?

This revival of a vintage Fender is one of the most versatile amplifiers out there, excellent for playing blues, country, jazz, rock, and funk. It’s supposedly a low-powered amp, coming in with 22 watts and a 12-inch speaker, but even those who think this is not powerful enough have changed their minds after connecting it with their instruments.

The Deluxe Reverb 65 produces glassy clean tones that flatter any guitar plugged into it. The reverb is nice and deep, and it handles pedals well. It’s just a bonus that the amp also looks gorgeous, thanks to its silver grill material and textured black vinyl cover.

This is not the amp of choice if you’re looking to perform in big arenas, but you can count on it in small pubs and studios to get the job done.

You can get this amp for around $1,100, so it’s not cheap.
