Last Miss World from India
Manushi Chhillar is the last Miss World from India. She was crowned Miss World 2017 on November 18, 2017, at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. She is the sixth Indian woman to win the Miss World title, after Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), and Priyanka Chopra (2000).
Chhillar was born on May 14, 1997, in Sonipat, Haryana, India. She is a doctor by profession and holds a degree in medicine from the Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Khanpur Kalan, Haryana.
Chhillar is a strong advocate for women's empowerment and education. She is also involved in a number of social causes, including Project Shakti, which aims to provide sanitary napkins to women and girls in rural India.
