Home cinemas are incredibly cool and one of the best investments I’ve made since moving into my new home. They can be incredibly sophisticated or very crude, depending on your budget. Either way, they’re a lot of fun and enhance the movie-viewing experience. Firstly, think about your television. I actually use a projector and a screen instead. You get a much bigger screen that way and it’s portable.
Of course, this requires total darkness so I also installed blackout blinds. Other than that, all you need is some comfy chairs (preferably with cupholders) and a good sound system. Design it to your own personal preference. I use my home cinema to binge Netflix movies. I also use it to play video games so it doubles as an awesome games room.
