Camping is a favorite of mine, especially if I’m not in a hurry. There is something inherently satisfying about being able to just stop driving and set up camp whenever the sun sets, without having to worry about finding a hotel or even finding any cities. I just make sure to find a spot that has cell service so I’m not isolated. But of course, this approach loses some of its luster when it’s cold out.
Another option is to rent a campervan for the trip. Companies that offer campervan hire Kent services often have vans with enough room for four adults to sleep comfortably. And a campervan will come with climate control, a kitchen, and other conveniences to make spending the night on the side of the road.
Finally, some apps help you find people who have a spare room you can use. This is often cheaper than a hotel, even if a little less convenient.
