To make changes to the way subtitles will appear on your screen while you’re watching a movie or a TV show on Netflix, first open Netflix using a web browser. Sign in and click on ‘Account’ which is located at the top right corner, then go to the Profile & Parental Controls section and from there, choose the specific profile where you want to make changes. Click on the profile to expand it and there you’ll see a list of settings that you can change. Head to the ‘Subtitle Appearance’ section and click ‘Change’.
You can then choose the font, text size, shadow, and even the background and window colors of your subtitles. On the same screen, you will be able to see a preview as you adjust the settings to your preference. Once you’ve all set, just click ‘Save’ to update your subtitle settings. The changes you made will apply only to the specific profile you’ve selected. This means the subtitle settings of other profiles will not be affected.
