The record date of this mega buyback offer is now declared. This will start on 23 February 2022 and the company would be completing the buying process in 3 to 4 months (Although this is unclear as of now). People can buy shares before this date to be eligible to participate in this program.
TCS had announced this buyback program earlier on 12 January 2022. The company will be buying 4 crore shares for an aggregate of Rs.18,000 crores at Rs.4500 per equity.
