I find that some customers have their preferred couriers for the delivery of their items and that got me thinking about whether there’s really a need to use exclusively one courier.

If you’re a reseller of, let’s say, makeup or skincare products, then you probably have a huge inventory and you receive several individual orders on any given day. In this case, choosing one shipping partner might be a better option because you’ll only have to deal with one delivery company when handling orders.

That said, things are a bit different if you’re selling made-to-order, commissioned artwork, crafts, and luxury items where you have to keep your client updated every step of the way. This is where clients are more likely to request that their items be shipped via their preferred courier.

There’s really no rule that says you should stick to this courier or that. There will really be times when you’ll have to look at all your options to see what courier will best do the job. The good news is, you don’t have to be tied to one courier. There are several service providers out there and Fast Courier can help you determine which interstate courier is best in terms of the specific functions the courier needs to fulfill, as well in terms of cost.
