Firstly I think everyone has different ideas of what success may mean. For example, by success do you mean happiness, or money? For me I'm not too fussed about being rich and famous, but I do want to have a stable career to help support my family, and i understand to do that I need to do a job I enjoy, that provides me with enough money and employee benefits to make the time and effort i spend there worth it. For that I think you need to have a career you enjoy. It's very easy to get sucked into a career that you don't enjoy but pays the bills. But on the other hand surely it is more important to start with a career you love, regardless of its benefits, and work your way up from there. I started working in construction a few years ago now, and through the online courses provided by the College of Contract Management i have been able to progress my career and earn more money doing something I enjoy. And I think thats what makes me successful.
