My mother has this health issue and I'm not exactly slim or keep away from carbs and sugar so I feel I'm at risk as a middle aged woman . It's frustrating and scary thinking about going to a check up with a bad result .

You can check your blood sugar at home with this easy to use device.
Here is a video on how to use this device.
After checking your blood sugar, you can consult your doctor.

There are ways to control your blood sugar levels:

Eat organic food.
Regular exercise is the key.
Take medicines regularly (If you are diabetic).
Fasting once in a week (Skip this if you have low blood sugar).
Cut alcohol intake.

Follow the routine, stay focused and positive, stay healthy.

Cheers!
