With assisted living, senior can get help with basic tasks:

Laundry

Bathing and Grooming

Taking Daily Medications

Shopping

Meal Preparation

24-hour Support - Safety and Security

In "Independent Senior Living Facilities" senior's can do all the basic tasks his/her own, such as meal preparation, bathing and other program such as exercise and activity programs, etc.

Assisted living is a good alternative for people who are at their old age and no longer able to live alone, but do not need intensive nursing care. Independent living preserves a senior's independence and does not provide access to medical or nursing care.
