Who’s the best ADC for beginners in League of Legends?

Well, while you certainly don’t want to start with an advanced champion like Draven, there’s quite a number of ADC champions who are well suited for beginners. The classic ADC archetype is a champion who hits hard from a distance, has a heavy focus on auto-attacking, and who has some — but not a lot — of mobility and utility tools. Which gives you options like Tristana, Ashe, Miss Fortune, Caitlyn, and Sivir, among others.

Personally, I believe Ashe is the best ADC for beginners. She’s cheap to attain, easy to learn, has a lot of tools and utility, and she’s almost never too low in the tier ranks of any season, meaning you can carry her all the way into ranked play if you’d like to. Plus, the stun of her ultimate — combined with the AOE damage and slow — makes sure you’re never useless in a match, even if you are not farming particularly well.

After you master Ashe, I recommend you try someone like Ezreal or Miss Fortune. Both of which are still pretty good at engaging and escaping, but who allow for more aggressive and interesting playstyles. Caitlyn is supposedly also very good for beginners, but since she’s a bit expensive — and has less utility outside of direct damage — I’ll stick with Ashe as my recommendation here.
