Get a finance degree. Regardless of what your future career prospects hold, a degree in finance is very versatile and the knowledge you gain will be applicable to a diverse portfolio as investments grow.

Yes, I think college is a complete waste of time unless you are going to college to get a certificate or degree that you are legally required to have to work in your area of specialty - doctor, paramedic, nurse, lawyer, etc. College puts you 100k in debt. The best most people graduating can get from the degree they earned is a job at Walmart or Costco...You are in this entrepreneur group. Create a business and design your life the way you want to design it. Free yourself from the slavery the system we live in promotes - college is designed to make you a slave to corporate America and a slave to debt. Keep you dependent... We were born free. We should live free to pursue our dreams and passions... and help other people free themselves from the shackles the brainwashing has put on us... Hmm. I feel a speech coming on for an event! Live Free and Prosper...

Why would you need a degree to pursue real estate investing? You can find weekend seminars that will teach you everything you need to know without wasting your time on a college degree. The only reason I see to get a degree in anything is if you plan on working for corporate. Otherwise, find a couple of weekend seminars. You'll learn more from those than any college will teach you. The information you are learning is from 7 figure earners doing it. Not some college teacher who has a theory on investing and never spent a dime of their money on any investments other than a 401k the college offers. https://www.crowdstreet.com/commercial-real-estate-investing/

In general, Finance. If you're looking at an MBA, there are MBAs focused on Real Estate. That's the one specialty that is at least somewhat geographic specific, from what I've read.

Why spend 100k on a degree that is useless? You don't need one for commercial real estate. It won't really help you. Take a free accounting class online to learn about managing your cash flow and get your license.

Check out courses from people who are investors. Scott J Scheel or Dave Lindahls courses are excellent for learning what to do and look for.
