The first step involves downloading the Ajax mobile app, which guides you through the entire setup process. Then, you start by installing the central hub, called the Hub or Hub Plus, in a central location in your home. After that, the app allows you to add various sensors by simply scanning QR codes on the devices. During my research, I utilized ertech, which was very helpful. Just to add, you will need to physically place the sensors around your home—on doors, windows, and other entry points. Each sensor is wireless, so you don't have to worry about complex wiring. The most satisfying part is testing the system; hearing that first beep of confirmation was really reassuring. Overall, the setup process might take a couple of hours, but it’s quite manageable and well worth the peace of mind.
